DECA STORE
The DECA Store is open during both lunches on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. The store is closed on Wednesdays and Fridays. Thank you again.
JROTC
Every other year the MCJROTC program is inspected by Headquarters Marine Corps. The Inspector General (IG) Inspection is a thorough look at every aspect of our program. One critical aspect is the cadet personnel inspection. All cadets, in uniform, are required to attend. Cadets are inspected for proper wear and care of the uniform and knowledge. They will also be graded on Drill and Color Guard.
On January 27th our Regional Director will be here to conduct the Inspection. As in past years, cadets will be at the IG for the first three periods of the day. Please encourage them to be here and in uniform for this event. Their confidence is key to a stress-free inspection.
Library
Students wishing to visit the library during 2.5 to work on homework or in a group will need to get a pass from Mrs. Luder in the morning before 2.5 from now on.
Want to learn how to use a 3D printer or 3D pen? Interested in coding or robotics? There is now a makerspace in the library! Mrs. Luder will be having makerspace Fridays during 2.5 where you will be able to learn how to use these technologies. Stop by the library Friday morning BEFORE 2.5 to get a pass.
Seniors
Seniors- deadlines for the Cesar Chavez and Future Voices Scholarships are quickly approaching. Please make it a priority to complete your applications on time if you are planning to apply! Paper copies of the applications are available in the counseling area.
Spring Sports
If you are interested in trying out for baseball & softball, please turn in a completed physical packet before February 10th. Also track, girls & boys’ tennis will begin February 10th. You may pick up a sports physical packet in Mrs. Soto’s office room B121. Thankyou!
