VG Mountain Bikers
A big shout out to the Vista Grande Mountain Bike racing team. The 2019 season is now in the books. When the dust settled the VG Team finished in 12th position out of 48 teams in the State. The team’s success was due in large part to Seniors, Neal Adams and Noah Quinonez, battling the state’s best in the hotly competitive JV1 division. Both Neal and Noah are remarkable athletes and have been with the team all four years, they will be deeply missed next year.  In his first season with the team, Kenneth Hernandez contributions were huge as he battled his way to 2nd overall in the state riding in the JV2 division.  Contributing Team members: Austin Davis, Bruce Franklin, Christian Abril, Jack Chairez and Matilda Franklin all made remarkable progress in one of the fastest growing high school sports in America. The team hopes to grow even bigger in 2020.  Come join the fun!
