Superintendent’s ChallengeStudents, Have your heard about the Superintendent’s Challenge?
The Challenge is:
-Earn 50 hours or more per year in Community Service by your senior year (200 hours total in 4 years) and receive a Superintendent's Challenge honor cord and certificate.
-Complete 200 hours of Community Service in one school year (with hours beginning June 1 until the deadline) and receive a Varsity Letter.
Students who have taken Dr. Bebee up on his challenge and are participating in the Superintendent’s Challenge, the deadline to submit you approved hours is submit your hours is April 9, 2020. You must submit your documented hours to Mary Rosenbam at the CGUHSD district office in person or you can email them to her at

NEWS/ School Counselors
Attention Juniors: You can now sign up for the ASVAB. Please go to the counseling office to add your name to the list. There are only 70 spots available for the March 12th test date. Seniors are scheduled to take the ASVAB on Friday, March 13th.

Girls Tennis
Girls tennis varsity team lost against Paradise Valley High School, final score 2-7.
Singles winning score were: Sorraya Wright won 7-5, 1-6 and 10-3. Madison Confer won her singles 6-3, 7-6.
Girls JV team won their game against Paradise Valley High School, final score of 7-2.
Singles scores were Alexis Johnson 8-6, Hailey Mace 8-0, Jade Giuffre 8-2, Chloe Torres 8-2 and Brooklyn Lopez 8-3. Doubles scores were Hailey Mace/Jade Giuffre 8-3 and Taylor Greathouse/Tiaret Lewis 8-3.
