Picture Days start this
week Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in L 50. Order forms were passed out in 3rd hour classes. Extra forms are
available in the book store. Freshmen on Monday, Sophomores on Monday and
Tuesday, Juniors on Tuesday and Seniors on Wednesday.
There will be an informational meeting Thursday,
8/23/18 in room C200 at 3:15 for all who are interested in making Union a
"No Place for Hate" school. This is a student-lead club that will help others recognize and combat
their own biases, and prejudices. All voices are needed.
The Amerind club will be meeting today after school in
D207. Bus passes available.
There will be a peer-training meeting on August
29th, so we will need our teams in place by the 24th of August.
Guess what?! You can now sign-up for the PSAT,
SAT, and the ASVAB. The PSAT is
scheduled for October 10th in the morning and there are 75 spots available.
Priority will be given to Juniors. Sophomores who are interested in taking the
PSAT will be placed on a waiting list. The SAT is also scheduled for October 10th in the morning and there
are 70 spots available. Priority will be given to Seniors. Juniors who are
interested in taking the SAT will be placed on a waiting list. The ASVAB sign-up sheet is in the Guidance
area in the B Building and ALL Juniors and Seniors are strongly encouraged to
sign-up... and it's FREE! It is a great tool to use when wanting to know what
your strengths and interests are for a future career choice. You DO NOT have to
enlist to take this test. If you have questions regarding any of these
exams and fee waivers, please see Mrs. Sanchez in B132.
