There will be a meeting for all seniors and their parents on Tuesday, March 14th at 6 pm in the Olaski Lecture Hall. Jostens will be onsite for last minute orders.
"Attention all students and staff... The Early Childcare Education Program and Cougar Cub Preschool will be holding a fundraiser on March 12th, THIS Sunday evening. We will be serving Barros Pizza & Eegees, and we will be showing the old Disney classic movie "The Jungle Book". This fundraiser is for a local 3-year-old boy named Eli who has a rare medical condition & it will help pay for medical expenses. Please come to the Olaski from 5-8 pm to support him."
It’s that time of Year Seniors!! Seniors that have received or been notified that he/she will be receiving a scholarship, please provide Mrs. Martinez in the Guidance Department with a copy of the award letter you receive so we can properly recognize you at our Annual Scholarship Ceremony. Only students that receive a scholarship and provide appropriate documentation will be recognized. Deadline to provide your information will be April 19, 2017. Please see Mrs. Martinez in Guidance if you should have any questions.
Attention Juniors: if you are interested in attending summer camps at universities this summer, please see Ms. Campos or Mrs. Merrill in the Guidance Department for more application information and scholarship information. The deadline is March 30th.
Seniors: The March scholarship list has been posted to the Union website! Several local scholarships have deadlines this month including Alvarez Memorial, Kiwanis & Rotary. Please consider applying to help pay for your college education
Girls Tennis won yesterday against St. Mary’s overall score 6-3! Congratulation’s to our Lady Cougars!
Boy’s Tennis also with a victory against St. Mary’s, overall score 7-2! Congratulation’s Cougars!
The girl’s tennis team played in the Coolidge Tennis tournament on Saturday, March 4th. Joslyn King won her singles game against Santa Cruz H.S. but lost her second game in the winner’s bracket to Safford. The girls double team of Skylar Goodsell & Summer Shedd lost their first game to the doubles Safford team then went down to the consolation bracket to play 3 more games before losing to the same Safford team in the quarterfinals.
