(CGUHSD) Congratulations to CGUHS's Kayla Tacker, who was recognized as a finalist for the second year in a row in Girls Flag Football at the Arizona High School Sports Awards—an incredible honor! We also celebrate Vista Grande’s Eltorna Gant and CG Union’s Aveon Williams, who were named finalists among the top athletes in the state, even though they were unable to attend. The awards show, presented by Diamond Kitchen & Bath and powered by The Arizona Republic, took place June 4 at the Orpheum Theatre and honors the best in Arizona high school athletics. Special guest appearance by Michael Wilson.
