CTE Student of the Month
CG-CTEStudentOfMonth202212KahnCadence (1)

Cadence Kahn (CGUHS) was selected as one of the December CTE Students of the Month. Cadence was nominated by her CTE Bioscience teacher, Mr. Donald Thompson. “Cadence is currently both the student body president at CGUHS and the president of CGUHS HOSA. Cadence has been inspirational in helping our program and me as a first year CTE teacher to become involved in Arizona HOSA and all the upcoming HOSA activities. In last week’s “Fall Leadership Conference,” she guided her classmates in attendance through the daily activities and helped ensure a successful event. Cadence is a senior at CGUHS and has a 4.6 GPA. She plans to attend Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, upon graduation. I am proud to nominate Cadence for the student of the month award.” Cadence’s parents are Mr. Anthony Kahn and Ms. Cody Spies of Casa Grande, Arizona. Over 1,600 students are enrolled in thirteen different Career & Technical Education programs throughout the Casa Grande Union High School District. Each month, a different CTE program nominates a deserving student for this honor. For past recipients, visit www.cguhsd.org/CTE.aspx.
