(CGUHS) In Ms. Espartero's English Language Arts 12 class, students were divided into groups in which they tackled different fiction signposts. Their tasks were to write the sequence of the story and create an illustration with the written main idea, all within a 35-minute timeframe. In a Round Robin Presentation, a selected presenter from each group shared their findings with other groups in 30 seconds to 1-minute intervals. Those students asked questions, sought clarifications, and made comments. The lesson not only developed their confidence in public speaking but also honed their ability to work as a team in identifying fiction signposts, story sequencing, and main ideas.
