(CGUHSD) On Wednesday, May 7, CGUHS & VGHS seniors were celebrated at a special scholarship breakfast sponsored by Chartwells and Durham. Former CGUHS graduates and athletes Mark Luna and Chico Vasquez joined as guest speakers, sharing inspiring stories, words of wisdom, and valuable advice from their own life experiences. The recipients of the scholarships are Gunnar Barth, Anthony Amado, Elle Wiles, David Montijo, Trevor Tacker, Eltorna Gant, Dewayne Haygood, Fernando Moya, Cierah Mendez, Leland Cevedia, Malinah Whatley, Kendale Cade, and Ramzy Rodriguez.
