The VGHS Volleyball team earned its first-ever region title on Thursday, October 27, after a four-set win over El Mirage Dysar. The Spartans finished first in the 4A Black Canyon Region with a 9-1 record (10-7 overall) earning them an automatic bid to conference play-in. No. 16 Vista Grande made its first-ever postseason appearance at the 4A Conference State Play-In Tournament against No. 17 Surprise Paradise Honors on Tuesday, November 1, ending their season (10-8) after their loss.
