Nathan Valencia (CGUHS) received the $1000 AzMBA (Arizona Marching Band Association) Scholarship at the AzMBA Championships on Saturday, November 12. The annual scholarship is awarded to a high school senior with music education or performance aspirations in college. Selection criteria is based on an essay, transcript, and letters of recommendation. The Cougars are instructed by Martin Hebda, Fine Arts teacher. Visit
