(VGHS) On Thursday, April 4, sixty-four (64) students attended the 48th Annual CAC Math Contest. VGHS earned 1st Place in the Math Contest. At least sixteen (16) students qualified to compete in the Open-Qualifier Round (there might have been more): [Level I] Rudolfo Delsi, Amaya Macias, and Kaylie Owiti; [Level II] Saira Arias Lopez, Samuel Alvarado, Nathan Chase, Michael Harper, Pablo Ibanez, Baltazar Munoz, and Lydianna Rodriguez; and [Level III] Alejandra Alcala, Javell Barner, Ron Bongon, Kiara Dela Cruz, Drew Ortega, and Ava Pacheco. The Level III 2nd Place Team was Ron Bongon and Kiara Dela Cruz. Ron Bongon was the last standing Spartan in the Open-Qualifying Competition and made it to Round 5.
