(VGHS) In Hermelina Liddell’s Honors Biology class, students made a four-room pop-up to display what they know about each biomolecule: Carbohydrates, Lipids, Proteins and Nucleic Acids. Students showcased their artistic and creative side as well as their “Toastmasters” expertise when they did their presentation. In addition, they read an article from Stanford researchers about the new kind of biomolecule, GLycoRNA, and its association with autoimmune diseases. Students wrote their reaction papers.
