CASA GRANDE, AZ, May 15, 2023- Pinal County Superintendent Jill Broussard has appointed Mr. Richard Wilkie to fill the vacancy left by Taylor Kerby on the Casa Grande Union High School Governing Board. Mr. Wilkie has lived in the community for almost 15 years and currently serves as the Economic Development Director for the City of Casa Grande. Currently a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy Reserve for almost 20 years, he served two tours in Afghanistan. He is married and has three children, one of whom attends Casa Grande Union High School and another at Cactus Middle School. Mr. Wilkie shared, “I’m very excited for this opportunity and look forward to working with the rest of the board, Mr. Lavender, and the faculty and staff of CGUHSD.”
