Students from the University of Arizona, Arizona State University, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Phoenix College, Glendale Community College, and Casa Grande Union High School will team up in an innovative NASA-mission-like adventure in data acquisition and analysis through scientific ballooning during the October 2023 annular and the April 2024 total solar eclipses. Emily joins CGUHS team lead sophomore Elias Razo, senior Jonathan Lawson, senior Ella Barth, and senior Neal Allado. Emily is a first-year Engineering student, a member of Girls Who Code at CGUHS, and will be representing CGUHS at the SkillsUSA State Leadership and Skills Conference in April in the Mobile Robotics Technology contest.
