(VGHS) Mr. John Bill Caballero, English/Fine Arts Teacher, was presented the Stepping Out From Behind The Counter Award. Principal Danzy says, "Mr. Caballero was gifted to us in a situation that could have been one of the best gifts that we/Vista have received in long time. Mr. Caballero has stepped into every role, subject, and job that we have asked of him and has performed admirably. He is a ray of sunshine each and every day for the students of Vista Grande." Athletic Director Louis Ramirez also added, “Mr. Caballero’s energy and enthusiasm for our athletic programs on campus are contagious. He’s stepped up to work athletic events and be a part of our school community without reservation.
