(CGUHS) Spiritline, Sax Quartet, and Trumpet Solo helped plant flowers as part of the City Attorney's Office Victim Services Program's annual Children's Flower Garden event at City Hall on Wednesday, November 8. The flower garden is planted every year to remember children who have been victims of abuse. Gardening is an incredible way to give children an opportunity to explore and learn about nature. It teaches them self-confidence and responsibility and is a great way to acknowledge the important work they are doing to help children who have been victimized. The theme for this year was a quote from Kobe Bryant, "Everything negative: pressure, challenges - is all an opportunity for me to rise."
