(VGHS) Principal Vance Danzy nominated Mrs. Christi Saucedo for the Stepping Out From Behind The Counter Award. Mrs. Saucedo does anything for the betterment of her students and Vista Grande High School. Students often say how much she teaches them and how she helps them to be better students. Mrs. Saucedo has a student-teacher who has been observing her, and this is how that student-teacher ended an email about her: "...she is amazing, and Vista is blessed to have her as an educator to its students." Several of her students shared what makes her special to them. They described her as being the kindest teacher they know, and she listens to problems and helps with hardships. She also helps to start their day off on a positive note.
