(VGHS) Congressman Juan Ciscomani visited Vista Grande High School on Friday, February 23, to meet with student leaders and stop by some classrooms. He shared his story with the students that included becoming the first immigrant from Arizona to serve in Congress. Congressman Ciscomani told students that it is not where you start, it is what you do with what is given to you. Stressing hard work and a strong work ethic, he encouraged students to take advantage of opportunities, focus on one step at a time, and to never stop being curious and wanting to improve oneself. We appreciate Congressman Ciscomani for taking the time to meet with our future leaders and inspiring them to always believe the impossible.
