On Saturday, December 10, Cheer & Dance Team (VGHS) hosted Cheers for Change. The event was a showcase for the teams to show the community what they’ve been working on. They invited different youth sports organizations from Casa Grande to participate with them and get together for a day to spread cheer and collect donations and food items for the less fortunate in our community. They collected over 10 grocery bags full of toys and food donations and had over 16 performances. They are excited to host another event in the spring and are hoping to invite more high school and middle school teams from around the city.
