SEDS Space Law, Policy, & Ethics
CG-SEDSSpaceLawPolicyEthicsSIG20211025 (1)

The Casa Grande Union High School SEDS (Students for the Exploration & Development of Space) Space Law, Policy, and Ethics Special Interest Group (SIG) is developing a research project team to examine how the government would allow enforceable contracts to build on other planets, handle civil disputes in space, grant/bar property rights over mined materials that are privatized, and develop interspace roadway traffic regulations and systems, to name a few topics of discussion. Students interested in law, policy, or ethics, as it applies to the Outer Space Treaty of 1967, the Artemis Accords, or the U.S. Government, should contact Principal Investigator Dylan Benavente. The Space Law, Policy, & Ethics SIG meets on Wednesdays after school in Room L100. The group is advised by John Morris, CTE/Mathematics Teacher. Visit their webpage at www.cguhsd.org/cgSEDS.aspx.
