Vista Grande High School’s Marine Corps JROTC cadets, (foreground to background) Nicholas Toscano, Marguerite Kerr, and Logan Barnhart, were rewarded with meritorious promotions and special uniforms at a mass formation encompassing nearly 120 cadets. The formation occurred before the start of the school day in the little gym on Wednesday, October 27. The cadets received special promotion recognition and special uniforms because of their superior academic performances for term one by achieving an ‘A’ grade in every class. The recognition was so significant, parents attended and had the special honor of pinning the newly-earned and well-deserved ranks onto the cadets’ uniform.
