On Saturday, April 2, the Casa Grande Union High School (CGUHS) Color Guard and Indoor Percussion Ensemble competed at the WGAZ State Championships. Color Guard finished the season in 5th Place. This is their highest finish in almost ten years. Indoor Percussion Ensemble performed in the highest possible division and finished the season in 2nd Place. Krysten Simmons (SR) was the recipient of the WGAZ Scholarship. This is the fifth year in a row a member of the Casa Grande Indoor Percussion Ensemble has received this scholarship.
