Sean Price of Casa Grande High School was recognized Tuesday, January 11, as the Casa Grande Union High School District’s CGUHS Career & Technical Education (CTE) Student of the Month at the district’s Governing Board meeting. Sean was nominated by Kevin Curtis, CGUHS Culinary Arts Teacher, who had this to say about him, “Sean is a quiet leader in the classroom, and his work ethic and attitude set the standard for the entire class. He always goes above and beyond expectations in and out of the classroom. Sean is involved in many extracurricular activities including catering, leadership conferences, and culinary competitions. He has true passion for all things culinary and experiments out of class on new concepts and recipes.” Sean’s mother is Rebecca Romo. Over 1,600 students are enrolled in 15 different Career & Technical Education programs throughout the Casa Grande Union High School District. Each month, a CTE program nominates a deserving student for this honor. For more information about the CGUHS CTE program, visit www.cguhsd.org/cgCTE.aspx.
