Chloe McQueen of Vista Grande High School was recognized Tuesday, January 11, as the Casa Grande Union High School District’s VGHS Rotary Club of Casa Grande Student of the Month during the district’s Governing Board meeting. Chloe was recognized for her accomplishments and activities: Spartan Elite Dance Company (Co-Captain), SAAC (Member), Academic Excellence award (3-Yr), Link Crew (Previous Leader), Black Box Foundation’s Youth Theater Program (Volunteer), Dauphin Island Sea Lab Residential Marine Science Course (Attended & Passed), Dance Productions (Multiple), and Theatre Productions (Multiple). After high school, she plans to study Marine Biology. Chloe’s goals are to work for a marine science research team to help fight against species loss and environmental degradation.
