This year, the long holiday parade was spearheaded by VGHS Marine Corps JROTC cadets. First year cadets were especially nervous, yet eager, to begin trooping down Florence Boulevard for their first annual Casa Grande Electric Light Parade on Saturday, December 4. Cadets marched with pride and confidence as they led the town’s mile-long formation. Cadets (L-R) Leticia Ramirez, Joandri Galvan, James Card, Armando Negrete, Juan Meraz, Jovian Romero, Hannah Lyme, and Johanna Lopez made the trek look easy as they marched with precision and echoed cadences sung by the platoon commanders.
