As I was given the opportunity to serve Casa Grande Union High School District, I learned about many wonderful things, including information about each school and staff that supported them. Mr. Martin Hebda was one common denominator that I heard from leaders, students, and families. It did not take long for me to experience the awesome character and hard work ethic I have been told about Mr. Hebda. Martin is passionate about students and has committed all he has learned into the lives of students in the district. Not only is he an exceptional educational leader who makes decisions based on what is in the best interest of students, he also is an exemplar model for educators. He builds talents within the student body and provides opportunity for students to demonstrate learning and experience success. He works with staff and develops leadership capacity by giving of himself any time that he can. Mr. Hebda is a fantastic husband and father who loves his family and sets them appropriately above the rest. His organizational skills and willingness to contribute to and support student achievement has been value added to the school’s overarching goals. It gives me great pleasure to recognize Mr. Martin Hebda as the February staff member of the month. - Dr. Anna Battle, Superintendent
