VGHS Memorial Garden

VGHS Social Studies teacher Nathan Scheeler expressed that the Student Council decided years ago that they wanted a memorial on campus for students who had passed away before being able to graduate from Vista Grande High School. Different ideas and designs were considered, but they could not find the right fit for the school, climate, and what they had envisioned. After discussions with the students and planning with the CGUHSD Grounds staff, a plan was put into place. CGUHS CTE teacher Casey Farnsworth contributed the iron sign. The Grounds team worked hard to carry out the plans. This beautiful Memorial Garden shows the condolences VGHS staff and students want to convey, and it allows the memories to live on for years to come. Visit www.cguhsd.org/vgMemorialGarden.aspx.
