Casa Grande Union High School’s Parker Blythe signed a contract to become a Nuclear Engineer in the Navy. His main job in the fleet will be the running and maintenance of the nuclear reactors that power the aircraft carriers or submarines. After Parker finishes bootcamp in Great Lakes, he will go through three (3) six-month schools which are in South Carolina and New York over the course of two years. He will earn the rank of E-3 straight out of bootcamp, then be ranked E-4 after the first school. For more information, visit www.navy.com/careers/nuclear-operations.
