Rotary Student of the Month

McKayla Wright of Casa Grande Union High School was recognized Tuesday, March 2, as one of the Casa Grande Union High School District’s Rotary Club of Casa Grande Students of the Month during the district’s regular monthly school board meeting. McKayla was recognized for her activities and accomplishments: Student Council (3-Yr), Student Council Secretary (So), Student Council Vice President (Jr), Senior Class Vice President (Sr), Key Club (4-Yr), Key Club Historian (Sr), National Honor Society (2-Yr), Link Crew (1-Yr), Cougar Ambassador (So) (Jr), FCCLA (1-Yr), Early Childhood Education Intern (Sr), CGUHS Spiritline (3-Yr), CGUHS Spiritline Competition Member (Jr) (Sr), Varsity Cheerleader (Sr), Honor Roll (4-Yr), Honors Graduate, Top 3% Graduate,  NAU-ASU-CCU-UArizona Acceptance/Scholarships, Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate (Summer 2021), Dual College Student (Jr) (Sr), Tutor, Church Volunteer, Church Youth Member, Church Youth Choir, and Church Adult Choir. McKayla plans to complete her ECE class through CAC this summer, earn her ECE Certificate, and start working in a preschool. She then plans to attend college and earn a degree in Speech Language Pathology. By the end of college, she plans to have a master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology and then work in an Arizona school. McKayla’s parents are Brian and Aimee Wright.
