Jessica Molina of Casa Grande Union High School was recognized as one of the Casa Grande Union High School District’s Career & Technical Education (CTE) Students of the Month, Tuesday April 6, at the Casa Grande Union High School District’s Governing Board meeting. Jessica was nominated by her Marketing teacher David Carter. Jessica is a 4-year member of the Marketing/DECA Program. She has attended numerous in-state and out-of-state conferences, succeeded in DECA competitions, excelled in her leadership responsibilities, and is currently serving as the Casa Grande DECA Chapter President. In light of current events (COVID-19), Jessica still has been able to participate in several virtual DECA conferences this year. She has also been instrumental in managing the on-campus Work-Based Learning Ventures; DECA Store, Union Station Spirit Store, Plaque Shack, and DECA’s t-shirt print service, and is currently working on a new business venture, DECA Dash. Jessica’s parents are Jesse and Marisol Molina of Casa Grande. Over 1,600 students are enrolled in 15 different Career & Technical Education programs throughout the Casa Grande Union High School District. Each month, a different CTE program nominates a deserving student for this honor. For more information on the CTE program, visit www.cguhsd.org/CTE.aspx.
