Return To Five Days Per Week
April 7, 2021

CGUHSD Parents, Guardians, and Staff:

As a district, we have  continued to monitor the COVID-19 data for Pinal County and the ADHS benchmarks to determine when it is safe to return all students to school. Over the past month, we continue to see a decline in percent positivity and an improvement to everyday life for the entire state. Due to the improvements we have seen over the past few weeks in our county, the Governing Board voted last night to allow students to return to full-time in-person instruction, five (5) days a week, beginning on Monday, April 12th.  We will spend the rest of this week preparing to welcome all students who have chosen to learn in-person this semester back to school on Monday.

While things have improved in our county, we will continue to require masks to be worn on school campuses and district facilities by both staff and students, for the remainder of the school year. The safety of our staff and students is our highest priority and we will continue to do those things that we have been doing to keep our campuses safe.

We look forward to welcoming our students to learn in person full-time on April 12th. If you have any questions, please contact your school administration.

Thank you,
Steve Bebee
Superintendent
