Although she’s not fully dedicated to a certain college or major, she is considering the University of California Berkeley, University of Arizona, and the University of Southern California. She plans to major in Bioscience, Chemistry, and/or Environmental Science. Genevieve hopes to become a scientific researcher to find solutions to current and possible environmental and medical issues experienced globally. She also hopes to travel the world with her knowledge and passion and engage with scientific projects and researchers abroad. Genevieve hopes to give back to her mom and sister for all they have done for her throughout her life; to bring meaning to their sacrifices and remind herself of the reason her life is full of possibilities. She also wants to give back to her community and the communities of others. Genevieve strives to learn as much as she can about life; to always have the desire to broaden her understanding of people, ideas, and life’s complexities. Essentially, her end goal is to simply make a positive impact in all that she does, whether it’s through the work she pursues, the interactions with those around her, or the community in which she is involved.
