Tripp Breitkreitz of Casa Grande Union High School was recognized Tuesday, October 6, as the Casa Grande Union High School District’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) Student of the Month during the district’s regular monthly school board meeting. Tripp was nominated by his Automotive Technology teacher Mr. George Courtney at Casa Grande Union High School who stated, “Tripp has been an amazing asset to the Automotive program. He makes sure to complete his work thoroughly and in a timely manner. Tripp has been involved in the Automotive program since his Freshman year by being an active member of SkillsUSA, Auto’s Career and Technical Student Organization. He has an incredible work ethic and has a natural mechanical aptitude. He is also involved in the NHRA Drag Racing Jr. Street program where he recently won the NHRA Summit Series Jr. Street Track Championship for 2020 at Wild Horse Pass. I look forward to the many accomplishments ahead of him.” Tripp’s mother is Amy Breitkreitz of Casa Grande. Over 1,600 students are enrolled in the fifteen Career and Technical Education programs offered in the Casa Grande Union High School District. Each month, a different program may nominate a student for this recognition program.
