Aurora Yoder of Vista Grande High School was recognized Tuesday, January 12, as the Rotary Club of Casa Grande Student of the Month during the district’s regular monthly school board meeting. Aurora, a senior, was recognized for her accomplishments and activities: Vista Grande Theatre Troupe Member (4-Yrs), VG Theatre Troupe Treasurer (1-Yr), VG Theatre Troupe Membership Officer (2-Yrs), SkillsUSA Member (3-Yr), SkillsUSA Historian (1-Yr), SkillsUSA President (1-Yr), BlackBox Foundation 10-Minute Play (Finalist 1-Yr), Sonic Drive-In Employee (1½-Yr), and Culver Restaurant Employee (1½-Yr). Aurora has participated in multiple competitions, conferences, and camps. Her goals are to go to college and earn a Doctorate in Psychology (PsyD) and learn Spanish and ASL fluently so she can help more clients in her field of work.
