Mr. Rod Wood is a long-time Park Superintendent at the City of Casa Grande. He manages almost 20 parks in the city by visiting each site and going over what it needs in repairs, construction, and landscaping, and even solving issues such as vandalism. As the guest speaker on Tuesday, January 28, he was able to give a very good picture of his daily tasks including a short description of the parks we have in Casa Grande. Many of the students asked interesting questions such as what qualifications were required to be a Park Manager, his years of experience, and even legalities on where to plant trees.
