Career and Technical Education (CTE) held a CTE Career Fair at Stanfield Elementary School on Wednesday, February 26. CTE is preparing our students to become the highly skilled workforce of our community, state, and nation. Students in our CTE programs take what they learn and apply it to something relevant to real-life experiences. Growing hydroponic crops, building robots, preparing a gourmet meal, or extracting DNA are examples of the daily activities. Each CTE program within the district leads to a certification or industry credential. In addition to teaching our students the technical skills for a career, our programs instill the employability skills that will make them successful in their future occupation.
