Miriam Pulido of Casa Grande Union High School was recognized Tuesday, February 4, as the Casa Grande Union High School District’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) Student of the Month during the district’s regular monthly school board meeting. Miriam was nominated by her Culinary Teacher Stephanie Adams. Mrs. Adams stated, “Miriam is in her third year in Culinary. She has blossomed so much by helping and doing numerous tasks even when not asked. She is always smiling and in a great mood. She knows how to do so many tasks in Culinary that she does not even need me as a teacher.” Miriam’s parent are Eduardo and Norma Pulido of Casa Grande. Over 1,600 students are enrolled in the thirteen Career and Technical Education programs offered in the Casa Grande Union High School District. Each month, a different program may nominate a student for this recognition program. Visit the CTE webpage at www.cguhsd.org/CTE.aspx.
