Jacob Neff of Casa Grande Union High School was recognized Tuesday, May 5, as the Casa Grande Union High School District’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) Student of the Month during the district’s regular monthly school board meeting. Jacob was nominated by his Automotive Technology teacher Mr. George Courtney at Casa Grande Union High School who stated, “I feel so fortunate to have been part of Jacob’s high school career in Automotive. Jacob is such a pleasure to have in class over these last three (3) years. I consider Jacob to be one of my anchoring students who helped ignite a new identity in Casa Grande Union’s Automotive Program. Jacob has a great work ethic and conducts himself in a professional manner. He will be an asset wherever he goes, and I am very confident he will be successful.” Jacob’s parents are Ed and Rochelle Neff of Casa Grande. Over 1,600 students are enrolled in the fifteen Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs offered in the Casa Grande Union High School District. Each month, a different program may nominate a student for this recognition program. Visit www.cguhsd.org/CTE.aspx.
