Rotary Student of the Month
VG-RotaryStudentOfMonth202405GraceHagemann (0)
(VGHS) Grace Hagemann, child of Jacob and Julie Hagemann, has been named the May Rotary Student of the Month. Grace is a wonderful student with an extensive list of extracurricular involvement both in and out of school. She has been an active member of National Honor Society, Students Against Destructive Decisions, Key Club, and AP Club. Along with her involvement in these great clubs and societies, Grace has dedicated her time to volunteering within the community where she has put in a total of 220 hours of community service. To be involved at this extent and continue to keep exceptional grades might serve as a task for some, but this has never come as trouble for Grace, as she has earned academic achievements all four years of high school while maintaining a 4.725 grade point average. After graduation, Grace will attend Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, to study Linguistics. She aspires to work within AI or any other route that leads her to the intersection between technology and linguistics. For past recipients, visit https://www.cguhsd.org/vgRotaryStudentOfMonth.aspx.
