Special Announcement: Congratulations to Coach Robbins for being awarded the key to the city at Monday night’s city council meeting. We are all so grateful for all the work you have done for our school and our community. You are an amazing coach and advocate for student athletics. Congratulations on your retirement. You will be greatly missed.

This week is senior spirit week. Seniors, this is your last spirit week and it is all on you to show your cougar pride!

Thursday: Picture day: Your last day of high school, come dressed in your best for lots of pictures!
CGUHS HOSA is sponsoring a restaurant fundraiser at Peter Piper Pizza on Thursday May 26th from 5-7 pm. Please come out, eat some pizza and play some games. 15% of the profit goes to CG Hosa.
The class of 2022 will host its last fundraiser next Friday, May 20th at Panda Express on Florence. 10% of the profits will go to CGUHS class of 2022. You must present the attached flyer when purchasing your food. Here is a link to the flyer
General Announcements
Seniors: Please check your email and start turning in your library books. Some students still have books out from their freshman year! All books need to be returned and fines paid prior to graduation. If you are not sure if you have a book out, email Ms. Sundell. It is a good idea for all students to be diligent and return any books they may have passed due in the next two weeks.
Seniors, there will be a senior pancake breakfast on Monday May 23rd before graduation practice. Please join your friends in the testing rooms of the L building (L150) between 7:30-8:15 am for pancakes from Big House Café served up by some of your favorite teachers.
THE 8TH ANNUAL CASA GRANDE UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT GRADUATION POWWOW WILL BE HELD THIS COMING SATURDAY, MAY 21ST AT THE CGUHS LARGE GYMNASIUM. THE CGUHSD POWWOW IS A FREE EVENT AND THE PURPOSE IS TO RECOGNIZE ALL NATIVE AMERICAN GRADUATES FROM CASA GRANDE UNION HIGH SCHOOL AND VISTA GRANDE HIGH SCHOOL. ALL STUDENTS AND STAFF ARE INVITED TO THIS ALL DAY EVENT. THERE WILL BE NATIVE AMERICAN CULTURAL DRUMMING, SINGING, AND DANCING. NATIVE AMERICAN VENDORS WILL BE AT THE POWWOW TO SELL THEIR NATIVE AMERICAN ARTS & CRAFTS AND NATIVE APPAREL. THE AMERIND CLUB WILL BE SELLING FRYBREAD ALL DAY. EVERYONE COME OUT AND SUPPORT THE CLASS OF 2022 NATIVE AMERICAN GRADUATES.
The 2022 COUGAR yearbooks are here! The 2022 Cougar Yearbook Distribution is during LUNCH only at the Bookstore. The person picking up the book must be the student who purchased it. You cannot pick it up for a friend.
Please bring your student ID to pick up a book.
Books will not be delivered to classrooms.

All athletes please turn in your Athletic Equipment to the Equipment room ASAP. Equipment not returned will be charged to your bookstore account.
Calling All Golfers, please stop by H 100, Ms. Adams room, to get more information about the upcoming fall golf season and learn about summer golfing opportunities.
Varsity cheer tryouts will be May 17-20.
