On April 19-20, CGUHS Career & Technical Education (CTE) Construction had fifteen competitors and two sandwich makers attend the Arizona SkillsUSA State Championships at the Phoenix Convention Center. Competing in seven different trades or action skills events, the students represented CGUHS with pride and excellence in their efforts. Lane Medd earned 2nd Place (Carpentry) & a job offer. Nathan Steen earned 3rd Place (Plumbing). The other competitors are waiting for their final scores. Aside from the medals, the students made memories and have stories to tell about that one time at a SkillsUSA competition.
