Sarah Davis (VGHS) competed at the Division II Girls Golf State Tournament at Omni Tucson National Golf Course in Tucson, Arizona, October 31-November 1. A total of 18 individual players qualified for the girls state tournament. In order to qualify, an individual had to have competed in a minimum of seven (7) rounds. Each individual's best seven (7) rounds were used for qualification purposes. The top 18 individuals not on a qualifying team - based on their individual iWr at the conclusion of the regular season - advanced to the state tournament. An iWr is equal to the player’s score minus the tee box rating multiplied by 113 and then divided by the slope. The Spartans are coached by Mackinnon Olson, Mathematics Teacher.
