Lourdes Maria Jimenez, daughter of Rocky & Lorena Jimenez, is Vista Grande's April Rotary Student of the Month. Lourdes is a dedicated and caring member of the Vista Grande school community and the city of Casa Grande as a whole. Throughout her four years of high school, she has maintained membership in Key Club and the AP Spanish Club. She is currently the treasurer of the AP Spanish Club. Lourdes also played softball during her freshman and sophomore years. She has completed over 100 hours of community service by volunteering at her church, the Vista Grande Library, and Key Club blood drives. Lourdes has consistently been recognized for her academic standing by earning a 3.9 GPA and will graduate within the top 15% of her class. She also has maintained consistent employment for over two years and is currently a Francisco Grande Resort food and beverage team member. Lourdes will attend the University of Arizona and plans to earn a Bachelor of Science in Basic Medical Sciences from the College of Medicine. She was inspired by her childhood pediatrician and wants to follow in his footsteps.
