(VGHS) Tracy Stuart, Social Studies Teacher, was recognized as the Employee of the Month at the Governing Board Meeting on Tuesday, May 2. Mr. Stuart was nominated by his student, Anika Gates. “I had Mr. Stuart during the first semester of AP Government, which was my first AP class, and I loved his class. Even though I was nervous, I quickly began to love attending his class each day because of his dedication to teaching government and his drive and passion for politics. His lectures are engaging and fuel the curiosity of his students. He has taught us not WHAT to think, but HOW to think. Aside from being a government teacher, Mr. Stuart is very involved in Student Council as the Senior Class sponsor. He actively works with the students in taking on the planning of the Homecoming dance, and the many things involving graduation. With his guidance, the seniors always win the Homecoming float competition.
