CGUHS Biology students have spent the past two (2) weeks studying DNA. They have learned about its structure and function through online simulations, lectures, and class activities. Two favorite activities include constructing an edible model of DNA using Red Vines and marshmallows and extracting DNA out of fruit. Both activities get students interested in DNA and this interest helps them to learn more about DNA and genetics. Visit the Science Department at
