GSA Club meets today, January 13--from 3:15 to 4:15 in room L-145. Meet new people and support gender equity 

The Bilingual Multicultural Club has a change of Location for our meeting this Thursday. We will be meeting in the library during cougar hour. Please check in with your cougar hour teacher for attendance first and then come to the library. 

Cougar Friends next meeting will be January 27th during 2.5. 

Are you still working on your FAFSA or struggling with the process. We will be having FAFSA night tonight in the library from 5:30-7:30pm. Bring your laptop and come with your parents. University representatives will be on hand to help you complete the process. We hope to see you then! 

Sophomores and Juniors- If you are interested in attending CAVIT next school year, there is a field trip to their campus on Wednesday, January 19th. Please pick up a permission slip from the counseling clerk, Mrs. Debold. The deadline to sign up is this Friday and there are only 50 spots. 

Seniors, the Senior Scholarship Evening is scheduled for May 9th at 6:00 pm. Please make sure to submit all scholarship awards to Mrs. Debold no later than April 25th in order to be recognized. The submission form is located on the school website under the Counseling Department. Please feel free to contact Mrs. Debold in the B Building if you have any questions. 

Remember that there is free after school tutoring for you in English and Math every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.  You can also use this time this week to make up a missed final exam if you plan ahead with your teacher and they deliver the final exam.  You do need your own ride home at 4:20 pm or you will need to wait until 6:15 pm for the activity bus.  If you stay until 6:15 it is in the supervised room with the tutor for the whole time.  You can get help in any class and it is also a quiet place to work away from home and distractions.  We hope to see you soon.  This is the time to turn in all your assignments and bring up all your grades to start strong for third quarter. 

The library and nurses office are closed today. Please see the principal’s secretary for prescriptions today.
