Cougars Defeat Defending 4A Champ

The undefeated, second-seeded, CGUHS Football Team marked another victory on Friday, December 3. They defeated third-seeded Gilbert Mesquite 41-28 in the 4A Semifinals at Al Van Hazel Stadium. This will be the first time in school history for the team to advance to the state title game. The 12-0 Cougars will take on top-seeded Poston Butte on Friday, December 10, at 4:00 p.m. at ASU's Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, Arizona. The Cougars are coached by Jake Barro, PE/CTE Teacher.
