Valeria DeLaCruz of Vista Grande High School was recognized Tuesday, December 7, as the Casa Grande Union High School District’s VGHS Rotary Club of Casa Grande Student of the Month during the district’s Governing Board meeting. Valeria was recognized for her accomplishments and activities: GPA (4.2), VG Academic Achievement Award (3-Yr), National Honors Society (2-Yr), AP Spanish Class (2-Yr), AP Spanish Club (President), Link Crew (Member), and Soccer (2-Yr). In her free time, she likes to create handmade crafts for her small business and travel. After high school, she plans to attend Northern Arizona University (NAU) and study Criminal Justice to pursue her dream of becoming a Detective. Her life goal is to travel around the world.
