Sportsmanship Award

The Casa Grande Union High School (CGUHS) Girls Basketball Team will be honored with the Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) 5A Conference Sportsmanship Award during the first timeout of the 5A State Championship game on Tuesday, March 1, at the Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum @ 6 pm. This award is presented annually in each conference to the team that exhibits the highest level of sportsmanship, as voted on by the officials. “This is a special team that knows the value of winning and losing games in the right way,” Head Coach Kevin Hubbard said. “I am proud of them and how they play the game.
